the fact that there’s still so much unknown about intersex health isn’t just a fun coincidence. it’s a result of continued medical bias, the focus on trying to make us “normal”, and active medical neglect of intersex people
like. sure, there’s much that is unknown about the human body in general. but the lack of knowledge about intersex people is not independent from medical intersexism
reading my old poems is crazy cos i would write a poem about ANYTHING and thats honestly what makes them so beautiful. also they mostly had structure i would try to get some sort of metre going whereas for the past few years i have only done stream of conciousness poems which are nice in their own way but sort of feel lacking when i do them just because i hate the unpolished nature of them even tho that was the whole point of doing them
being a kid who only had access to PBS makes u such a funny adult cos i have sooo much nostalgia for british sitcoms from the 70s and 80s when i have no other connection to that at all but every weekend evening i would sit there and watch the whole britcoms block
